Things are moving now – the top floor consisting of two bedrooms and a bathroom have taken shape with the stud work and door linings and the all important Celotex insulation is finally complete & boy did we use some gear.
The Celotex needs to go between the joists as well as over them as not to give a break in the thermal qualities of the insulation. This is then covered by the plasterboard which is then covered with thin coat multi finish plaster later this week – fingers crossed.
The job is a little behind schedule but we have the work force to a minimum as throwing money and labour at it is the easy way and that’s not what we are trying to do, leave that to the big boy developers. Quality on budget with loads of tips is why we are here so keep watching.
