The day has finally arrived it’s the return of the rocket – he has been away on a rather long summer holiday but he is back, refueled and ready to fly, he is the rocket.
The large rear flank that joins into the rear and only, valley is the first victim.
This is a large chunk of tiles (about 2600) that need to go in some of which I managed to bump up the scaffold on Sunday.
The tiles again are a machine made clay finished in a dark antique color which matches the Ibstock bricks fantastically. There has been a lot of preparation done timber wise whilst the rocket has been away so it should in theory be a straight flow through but the valley and the dormer box (rear top floor window) will take a bit of time to get round.
