Well ladies and gentlemen let me introduce to you all Darren & Ray – they are the hinge & bracket of roofing so pause what you are doing and give them a warm hand - they would like that!

They have very kindly picked up where the Rocket left off and are merrily working there way through the ridges and bonnets with a light tickling of lead work.

Before you ask they are not drunk they are just living the dream with me here at my project (money pit).


If you have been watching the web cam and haven’t seen much movement its not a fault they just like tea - anyway the Garage front mono pitch and the kitchen rear mono pitch are now completely finished and 100% watertight with a big chunk of the witches hat pitch completed to the kitchen bay – its looking great and nearly done now.

Next job for me is the fascias and soffit to these areas which may incorporate a little bit of cool lighting. More on that later.
