I have been a bit busy with the last bits of carpentry work needed before the roofers can carry on with there bits. I needed to get a fascia on for the front of the garage mono pitch so that the tiles can go on and I’ve got the box gutter to form from tanilized timber at the rear of the chimney stack.
After this the fellas crack on with felting and battening the garage and start tiling – then going round the back to the rear mono pitch and doing the same there.
There were also a few bits left from the last visit – little snaggy areas that needed to be sorted – glad to say all these were done too.
These were picked off with lead under cloaks and loads of tile cuts to make everything sit level where the different pitches of the roof married up.
So only the chimney side at high level left now – but good news indeed – my solar panels are here, watch this space. . .literally.
