Its all about the electrics for the next couple of days – remember any electrical work should be under the Part P remit. This is one of the latest governing body building regulations which states that work can only be done by qualified registered part p installers – of which I am one.
This basically is a way of protecting consumers from rouge traders or sub standard work.
The electrics in my place will be done in phases using old along with new as we move round the house.
Starting at the top floor its lights, sockets, Phones, heating and audio/visual stuff 1st.
All the faceplates are from the MK logic range which offer a wide variety and have everything I need for this project. With lighting in the form of GU10 downlighters to the bedrooms and hall with low voltage down lighters to the bathroom including an IP rated shower light fitting for the shower cubicle – oh and don’t forget the extractor fan, its part of getting the project signed off from building control
