Its all about the windows……………….they are here and the site has been tied up ready for there arrival. The windows and glass can go into all the builders’ openings that have been prepared. Also the rear lounge door knock through can be tackled too.
This opening was formed way back when Henry re-skinned the house with the Ibstock bricks and the lintel was cut in but the inner skin was left in rather than have an opening to the house left to the elements.
The construction was brick and concrete block so it took a bit of shifting but I got it ready for Biggins boys to fit the French doors.
Whilst I was doing this the front bay, side chimney wall windows and the sand blasted rear en-suite for bed 4 were put in – all in all getting there.
The painters are in later this week for the loft rooms so its pretty much a free rain for them internally!
