It’s a full house today with everyone here – we’ve got the rocket full steam ahead on the tiles with special attention to the rear dormer box which has got lead, felt, vertical & fascia work to be completed but he has a secret weapon – Me. That’s right I’ve started to tile the front of the house getting around 1300 tiles fitted! Role on the BBQ for lunch.

Biggins from profit has sent Bob to start fitting the French doors, this is one of five. These can now go in as the majority of the rear scaffold is now down and out of the way. The doors are slim line UPVC and are all fitted with toughened safety Pilkington K glass.

The wanderer returns in the form of Jimbo the artist in plaster. This is what we have got him to use and if he lets go of me for 5 minutes he will get loads of this onto the walls. We are starting at the top and working downwards which is common sense and works for us as we will be moving to the top floor once we have a bathroom to use – that’s only a couple of weeks away really.
